Children's Banana BioAcidophilus is a powdered mixture of common, friendly bacteria that is derived from the distinct, clinically studied LAB4 complex of living bacteria. The LAB4 complex, which includes two unique proprietary strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Bifidobacterium lactis, is one of the combinations of live bacteria that has been the subject of the most clinical studies. Theses strains are beneficial to humans and adhere to the intestinal wall and are resistant to acid and bile. This product also includes FOS (fructooligosaccharides), which support gut health by assisting in the maintenance of a balanced population of good bacteria, such as Bifidobacteria.
